The international airport Bergen Airport Flesland is situated 25 min from Bergen city centre. You can also get here by boat or railway.

As a starting point for the adventures out in the fjords Bergen has a lot to offer. Bergen itself is a wonderful picturesque city, which is on world heritage list of UNESCO. The city offers sights as The Old Bryggen wharf, the Fish Market, the Funicular to the top of mount Floyen with a marvellous view of the city, the composer Edvard Grieg’s home Troldhaugen, the picturesque Old Bergen open air museum with the small wooden houses. And not to forget all the cruise excursions on the fjords that penetrates deep into the mountain wilderness and forms these world famous fjords.

When it comes to the climate Bergen is blessed by a surprisingly warm climate, due to the Gulf Stream that passes Bergen out in the sea.
